Diana has over 15 years of combined experience working in public practice and industry. She has extensive knowledge in accounting, corporate and personal tax, compilation and review engagement financial statements, trust and estate planning and consultation services.
As a partner with Seguro LLP, and through Burwell Professional Corporation, Diana oversees the annual filings for more than 130 corporations, partnerships, not-for-profit and charitable organizations. As well, she manages an extensive personal tax practice consisting of roughly 340 T1 returns. Diana works with many business backgrounds in a variety of industries including construction, professional service, investment, retail, fitness, beauty and esthetics, consultants and hospitality sectors.
She graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2005 with a Bachelor of Management degree. Diana began her career in accounting by articling with a mid-size firm in Edmonton, where she obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2011. In 2012, she moved down to Calgary to take on the role of Chief Accountant with a private international drilling company. That role allowed her to broaden her knowledge in full-cycle accounting and taught her industry skills of budgeting, cash management and cost analysis. Diana was also a facilitator for the CA School of business, teaching modules and marking exams from 2011-2014. In 2015, Diana got back into public accounting and joined as a partner with Seguro LLP.

Diana has a growing practice that is focused on a variety of clients who appreciate a service-based, face-to-face approach, offering sound direction and valuable advice on all aspects of their business.
With a passion for helping people achieve their goals, she strives to have constant and open communication with her clients and thrives on building lasting relationships with them to find the right financial solutions for their unique situations.
She oversees her accounting practice as a family run business and enjoys the relationships she has made with other small family run businesses as well. Building these relationships allows her to feel like more than just an external accountant and more as a vital part of the business and the family succession planning process over the long-term.
Outside of the Office
When outside of the office, you can find Diana spending time with her family or in a Pilates class. She also enjoys yoga, golfing, hiking, and skiing. Diana loves travelling and hopes to one day visit every continent!
